The Annual Bixby Knolls Street Fair takes place on Atlantic Avenue, the
District's central commercial corridor, which is closed to traffic for several
blocks to allow arts and crafts vendors, local business people and food
purveyors to set up booths and boutiques in the street. The Fair is a free
open-air festival that is attended by over 10,000 local residents and visitors
who come to enjoy the free, family-oriented fun that includes shopping, food,
kids' activities and all sorts of live entertainment on the outdoor stage and on
the street.
